Ed founded EBS Commercial approximately twenty-two years ago after thirteen years in banking.  

He spent all of his banking career in the asset based lending arena culminating in establishing 

full-service offices in the north eastern region of the U.S. for three financial institutions not 

previously represented in this area.  His strengths include a solid knowledge base of various lending products; 

significant experience in solving both financial and operational issues in various middle market environments; 

a network of contacts at a wide range of financing sources throughout the U.S. and a record that allows access 

to the higher echelons of these organizations.  Ed holds a bachelors degree in accounting and a masters degree in finance.

Jim is a retired Partner of a Big Four accounting firm where he lead the northeast region real estate 

consulting practice. In recent years, he has focused on performing financial due diligence related to both 

equity and debt transactions. Jim has worked on over 200 middle market due diligence assignments for lenders, 

private equity and corporate clients. He holds a BBA and MBA degree in Finance. Jim is a CPA. 

Sal comes to EBS with over 40 years of banking experience. He holds a BS from Stony Brook University and an MBA 

from Boston College. After an initial training at Citibank he embarked on a career that brought him experience in 

various aspects of lending both at the line and management levels. He has been a middle market lender, a lender in 

the Private Bank arena and an asset based lender. In addition for the last ten years of his career he was responsible 

for the Special Assets effort at a mid-sized regional private bank.

Juergen came to the U.S. thirty years ago as a staff accountant for seven companies owned by a German industrialist. 

He rose to COO of U.S. holdings and sold the companies twelve years later. Subsequently was involved in the ownership 

and management ofa number of firms with heavy concentrations in the construction industry. Presently, Juergen is a partner 

in a private equity firm specializing in commercial real estate transactions.
